First and foremost, this item is as described in the images and details provided. Im not saying that this item is bad at all, just wasn’t what i was expecting for the use i needed it for. I had no problem setting up the lock code and pretty much was easy to use.

Now, If you are looking to simply strap something to your luggage or box or whatever, for the use to easily distinguish your item from the rest of other items, then this would definitely serve its purpose. And i feel that this item is best used for quick domestic travel. And I say this because an elastic material/strap is added on and it seems to really not be sturdily made. In fact, when i was attempting to forcefully lock the strap tightly, i noticed some of the stitching had broken off.

Anyway, if your one like me, who would want to have used this item for the purpose of security and peace of mind, this item will not serve its purpose. Especially with all the issues going on with luggage’s and boxes being opened and having the items inside either getting stolen or planting contraband that get you in trouble. I noticed even though i had tighten the strap and secured it to hold my luggage, the strap itself was rendered useless as it can easily be loosened. So even though the strap has it’s code and everything, if it can easily be loosened then the purpose to keep the luggage snug tight without the capability of anyone to break in and make space to pull out items or plant anything, has failed. You would then end up having to improvise or come up with something that would prevent the strap to easily be loosened while being securely locked with the code.

In conclusion, with what I thought this item can do, I would have been better off buying some $7 50ft sturdy rope and used that to secure my luggage. But i wanted to try this out in the hope to save me the hassle of going through the whole “rope wrapping” just to secure my luggage.

But like I said, im not writing this review to say that this item is BAD, im simply writing this review to those who would possibly buy this item in the same thinking I had to use this item for. In my opinion, I see no other use for this item besides allowing that extra feature to easily distinguish your luggage/box and simply providing that extra hug for tightness (again, it can easily be loosened even with lock code). Despite it’s drawback, I’ll just use this item for securing household storage stuff…
