    I really liked this item in concept, but after 1 use the strap has already started to break away 🙁 … I’m nervous to use it a second time for fear of it snapping and my bag busting open

    The strap is robust and attaches well to the luggage. I like the combo lock. TSA had no problems opening my luggage for inspection (found a love note from them). Biggest negative is that since luggage zipper travels all around the perimeter of the luggage, you don’t really need to unlock or remove the strap to get in the luggage! You can do it by moving the zipper around. Sure it prevents one from opening the lid, but does not prevent them from sticking their hands into the luggage!!!

    It seems ok with a good simple TSA lock easy to set. it is for use on my old hard shell case which has a non TSA lock on it. My only problem is it will slip on the hard shell case and the adjusting buckle can be loosened so it may be possible to gain access to the case, I will stitch the webbing to prevent this. I don’t think this will be a problem on soft cases, so it would have been five stars.
